Wassup with the sox??

OK, seriously, what was up with Kelly Wearstler's socks? I kept waiting for one of the designers to say, "Stop judging me when you are wearing aqua knee-high socks with open-toed green sandals, you freak." Unfortunately it did not happen...she is a giant fashion mess. Just watching the previews for next week with her crimped lioness hair gave me chills. She really needs to watch a few back episodes of Project Runway!!

I was a little disappointed in Carisa tonight. She had quite the attitude. But the real problem in their group was Ryan. He did a crappy job at Pier 1 (seriously, how many hundreds of candles did he buy??) but when you think about it, there was no job that he could have done well. I can't imagine him designing the space the way Goil did, or picking out the fabrics, or purchasing the furnishings. I'm not really sure why he is on this show to begin with.

I feel a little bad for Elizabeth. It does blow to be kicked out and told it was due to the color (which was hideous, I don't care what she says). Personally I would have kicked out Ryan but seeing as how he has been in the bottom a couple of times already I think his time is coming soon.

That hair made me want to destroy the tv. And yeah, wtf with her socks!?

And Ryan so should have gone. Carissa was the one to have definitely picked the furnishings, if Ryan hadn't been such an ass about it.

Just like they could not get over the acid green paint color, I could not get over the socks. I just kept staring at them. What a train wreck!

I agree, Kelly's socks were...weird.

Haha, I was just happy Matt didn't go home. :]

Me too! Although he needs to learn to stand up for himself better in the future...

As per PR & TC precedents, the judges penalize someone who takes the initiative to become leader of their team and let the dead wood float by. The team challenges suck.

And those sox! How can they let this woman judge anyone, her clothing is so freaking bizarre!

I liked the half naked carpenters, tho.

Yeah I hate team challenges. It seems like someone good always ends up going home during those.

Mmmm...naked men!

Team challenges do create an anger between the designers. And I'm pretty sure that's why Bravo did that, we all love drama. For the industry, however, you hardly ever work alone. There is always someone helping you whether it be a company you are working with to get your lumber or furnishings, or co-workers helping you. The only reason why we are seeing so much drama is because each designer has their own imput and want to be heard so THEY stand out above the rest. But who would you want designing your home... a team player you can work with or someone who pushes to have things their way?

But Elizabeth was a good team player. She wasn't bossy--Matt never said that he didn't like what they were doing and Erik totally ran with it as well. Ryan contributed little and has poor design sense and he is still there. That was the whole point of my comment.
